How early should I arrive?
If this is your first visit to Riot Cycle please show up at least 15 minutes early to make sure your account is set up properly and to give you plenty of time to adjust your bike settings.
What can I expect during a Riot Cycle class?
At Riot we use the beat of the music to guide our pace. We will sprint, jog, climb and do choreography (the choreography is always optional). Each bike is equipped with its own data pack that let's you know in real time how hard you're working. In addition, you'll receive an email at the end of class summarizing your ride.
What can I expect during a Performance Ride?
A Performance Ride is ridden to the beat of the music but there is no choreography. We ride in and out of the saddle, covering hills, flats, and jogs paying specific attention to wattage. The bikes have power meters that enable us to really hone in on our performance and drive change through targeted training on the bike.
What can I expect during a HIIT Ride?
In a HIIT class the music is a backdrop and we are focused solely on power output. Wattage takes center stage and we using a variety of work and rest intervals to drive our watts up to high levels to increase strength, power, and stamina. Expect to work at the very limits of your ability followed by periods of rest.
What is your cancelation/waitlist/late arrival policy?
Bikes canceled less than 12 hours before class or a no show will result being charged for the class.
If there is a waitlist for the class, anyone not checked in 2 minutes prior to the start of class may lose their spot to someone on the waitlist.
If you are more than 5 minutes late to class you will not be allowed into the class and will be charged. This is out of respect for our instructors and other riders.
We do understand things come up. Please call or text the studio at 206-456-6236 if you have any questions about these policies.
Is it true that when I bring a new rider to the studio we both ride free?
Yes. Anytime you bring a new client to the studio you both ride free.
